Technical
The movie sequences require Quicktime Player for PC
or Mac. If this is not installed on your system you can download
it from here.
Copyright
All music used was copyright free. Much of the music
used in the productions was created in a studio by Shaun Clarke,
and produced by Star Recordings specifically for the project. All
other music used was also obtained from copyright free sources and
authorised for project use.
Internet safety
It would have been impossible to show the richness
of the work or the exciting atmosphere of the workshops without
including the images of the kids taking part. Challenge College
is supportive of this web presentation and all parents have been
consulted and have consented that the work may be presented to a
restricted educational audience.
None of the children is directly named - although
names appear in credits and notices - as they would wish.
Acknowledgements
Special thanks are due to Gareth Dawkins Head of Challenge
College for allowing us to use the school and grounds, adjacent
to the CLC and for presenting the awards at the 'Oscars'. Also many
thanks to the staff of CLC, and Latif who were quickly press ganged
into acting in the productions.
I would also acknowledge Apple
ATI (and all involved) Cheltenham 2003 for inspiration, also
the work of David Baugh and colleagues at
Denbigh ICT Centre, Denbighshire LEA for their valuable developments
in this transformational area of education.
