DAY 3
Final shots
Day 3 was divided between filming the final shots
needed for the films and starting to edit the footage, It was at
this time that the groups became aware of the constraints of time.
As was the case from day one, the children worked non-stop even
whilst eating their lunch. (A buffet of the highest order.)
Through the more demanding sequences of editing some
of the children might take a short break playing games on the web.
Lots more props were brought in or commandeered from
the school and the leaders (including 3 cars). It became evident
that parents had also been roped in to providing support and resources.
Editing
When they finally finished filming, most groups had
quite lengthy sequences, The first task was to review the footage
and try to sequence it roughly on the editing software's timeline.
At first they found it strange to be so ruthless in
reducing the amount of footage.
